babitLive demo
Proof of what an AI agent did, and who allowed it.
I designed and built it on my own, from the architecture to the live demo.
bloom-parserOpen source
A service that turns images, PDFs and spreadsheets into one structured document.
I built it and published it as open source.
Experience
Rixl2025 to 2026
Backend software engineer and the largest contributor to its backend. I owned billing, passkey sign-in, authorization policies and canary releases.
- Billing and subscriptions.
- Passkey sign-in, across the auth service, API and gateway.
- Authorization policies.
- Canary releases, with metrics labelled by cohort so a canary can be judged before rollout.
EazyfitLive2025 to 2026
Principal backend engineer. I built most of the API, including escrow payouts and the photo measurement engine.
- Most of the main API.
- Escrow payouts, from the design runbook to deployment.
- The measurement engine that turns phone photos into measurements.
I've also built private systems for clients: payments, compliance, trading and commerce.
Developer stories
- "Unsure" is not "failed"When a side effect is irreversible, "I don't know" has to be a real state.
- Explicit work, not pollingModel a pipeline as explicit work, not periodic discovery: a job that exists as a row can be retried, inspected and recovered; a job that only exists when a timer fires cannot.
- Folding a service back inFor a young product, the expensive part is usually coordination and operations, not scale.
